Maree Tomkinson

Maree is an Australian based international rider who started her riding career early in life, becoming a very successful show rider. She has won most prestigious show classes, including the Garryowen Perpetual Trophy on two occasions (1991 and 1996). Over a 20+ year show career, Maree has amassed a huge number of champion rider and champion hack titles at all major shows throughout Australia.

In the late 1990’s Maree began to focus her attention on dressage and set some exacting goals in this demanding field of equestrian sport.  This decision has proven to be a most rewarding journey and given Maree a great deal of success riding horses in Young Horse classes through to Grand Prix.

Maree has represented Australia at three World Young Horse Championships, Nations Cup, Regional Games and the World Equestrian Games. She was named Equestrian Australia’s 2012 Athlete of the Year, and was the Australian Grand Prix Dressage Champion in 2012 and 2013. More recently Maree has represented her country at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, and is also on the National Elite Dressage Squad.

In addition to her achievements as an athlete, Maree is an NCAS Accredited Dressage Coach, Equestrian Australia Accredited Dressage Judge.

Emma Nash

Emma is responsible for the administration of Tomkinson Group Dressage and has been an integral part of the business for over 15 years.  She is a University qualified Myotherapist, Certified Equine and Canine Practitioner and founder of Four Legs Therapy and Rehabilitation.


Morgan Duell

Morgan has developed into a talented rider and trainer and has been very successful with her own horse Florinzz who is competing at Small Tour level.

Morgan is a member of the National and Victorian Youth Dressage Squads and in 2014 was the Victorian Young Dressage Rider of the Year and finalist in Equestrian Victoria's Young Athlete of the Year award.
2015 saw Morgan win the Australian Young Rider Small Tour Title, and win the 2015 Equestrian Grand Final Dressage Champion.

TGD Rider

Tayla Desmet

Tayla is 15 years old and has recently taken over the ride of Grand Prix horse, Rodrigo III, and has trained Coldstream Eastern Ridge from Novice to compete in Small Tour Competition. Tayla is the current National Interschool Small Tour Champion, FEI Young Rider Preliminary Champion, VEIS Advanced Dressage Champion, Australian Interschool Championship best Dressage Performance Award Recipient, member of the Victorian Young Rider Program. Tayla is a year 10 student at Melbourne Girls Grammar.
